We enjoyed all of our meals here, the included breakfast with our stay was fantastic and had no issues adding additional sides (added cost). The staff were very friendly and always went out of their way to provide exceptional service. The Exit 153 burger was extremely good, fries were great and a side of gravy was available for those of you so inclined. I had the onion rings, to change it up. The striploin was delicious and cooked to perfection, a mouth watering delight. If you like chili, it was just the right amount of spicy , I could not resist diving in to try it. After a day on the trails it hit the spot. Would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful little restaurant for casual or fine dining. I have had basic fish and chips at other establishments and all of them with the exception of this fine restaurant has been greasy and bland. My colleague had the spicy chicken deep fried pickle wrap. Both meals were excellent with portion size that was more than satisfying. The service from Trish was excellent. She was very kind and professional. One thing I don't like is a server that comes to my table way too often. Trish was not that hostest. She visited at the appropriate times and always professional. This quality is not always easy to find. Long story short. This restaurant is excellent and when I'm back in the area I will return for more fine dining. Cheers,

Yummy loaded potato skin dip shared with a Caesar salad. Stopped here for a light dinner with a beer chaser. Great service from Natasha. Would definitely come back here and even stay at the attached Amsterdam Inn which looks awesome too.

Stayed at the Inn and had supper there. They have Happy Hour Thur to Sat 5 to 7pm. 5 beer and wine with an appetizer. We ordered the roasted red pepper /feta dip as the appetizer which was scrumptious. (you could not substitute an entree for the appetizer) Also had the fish and chips which were tasty. Our server Jess was excellent! In the past have had the Scallops linguine which I highly recommend.

En route to Moncton from Ottawa, we stopped at the Exit 153 to have lunch. It was instant love. The decor is warm and inviting, brick walls with lots of wood, seats and booths in marine blue and burnt orange accents. Lovely! We had the seafood chowder and biscuit, the best chowder we’ve ever had so far, the house salad (with pecans and blueberries), a nice wine vinegar vinaigrette, and a side of crispy, well seasoned fries as a side. The food was delicious. Our waitress, Susan, was very friendly, warm, and professional. She enhanced our dining experience. We told her that we would be back, and we kept our word. We’re here now again three days later, en route to Ottawa... and still loving it!
